Pataphysics Take a Look Out Your Window Vinyl LP
$12
Take a Look Out Your Window LP+CD
Austin band , Pataphysics,’ debut album was reviewed positively in both the AV section of the Onion and also in the Austin Chronicle. It was also positively reviewed in the Fall ’08 issue of Rocktober. The music has drawn comparisons to late ’70s/early ’80s synth punk with it’s “reverberating polka dots of synth, squiggles of bass, and ricochets of guitar.” (austinsound.net 07/03/08). The album is an Lp+Cd format, containing both the digital and analog representation of the album. Stand out tracks, “Jesus, Grow a Handlebar Moustache For Me,” “You Make Me Feel Like a Weirdo,” and their cover of Red Crayola’s “Hurricane Fighterplane,” have been reviewed positively as part of their live show. Pataphysics was a “Wednesday pick” for the SXSW ’08 music festival, and are touring May/June of ’09 in California.
