Sporting jingles and fake bands galore, this compilation, released in the summer of ’05, is a must have for people who want to listen to weird, fun music. Gene Defcon opens the compilation, being number 40 on the list, and it counts up to number 1 with an announcer bubbling over, naming one-off bands like they are the next big thing.  Highlights include Cavedweller, the Telephone Company, Fishboy, Gene Defcon, and Yellow Fever (who go under the moniker “Fart Face” as an inside joke).  A fun game to play is to listen for fake bands that include vocalists of bands who have already placed on the Top 40.  Insanity!  That’s what this compilation is!
