GLASS SINGER, the latest album by WARM CLIMATE is shipping now. If you’re in L.A., come out Saturday, Feb. 23rd to PERMANENT RECORDS for an instore performance by the band at 6p.m.  They’ll be selling copies too, of course.

The Lonely Life

Join us February 28th at the historic Scottish Rite Theater for the World premier of The Lonely Life starring Will Oldham. This is a short movie we produced.

We are really excited about this night. It’s a screening of two excellent short films both staring Will Oldham. The Lonely Life by David Michael Aho and his band Sounder is World Premiering. Pioneer, another short by David Lowery, played at Sundance 2012, but hasn’t been played enough, so this is a great place to see it on a big screen. Some of the film makers will be at the event as well as Will Oldham. Ralph White will play a set before the screening. And then after the show at the Scottish Rite hall, the after party is at Mohawk with Troller, Sounder, and Gal Pals all playing, with Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy DJing between sets. Come on out to this one.

Andrew Bujalski’s new movie, Computer Chess, explores a fictitious computer vs. computer chess competition taking place in the early 1980s. To complement his movie, we present a glimpse at eight historical computer chess games that were played during the years 1966-1997.  SEE THEM HERE.

The movie will premier at the Sundance film festival in January 2013.
