Over the Hill & Days uv Bloat
IF 01
The Monofonus Press IF Series kicks off with the self-titled, debut album by Over the Hill, an Austin alt-country collective of sorts, spearheaded by singer/songwriter Morgan Coy. Coy also wrote the accompanying novella, Days uv Bloat, a tale of plague told from the perspective of a young southern woman. Mixed media artist, Colleen Matzke, provides the paintings and illustrations for both the book and cd, providing the set visual textures and a sense of beautiful solitude.
